The Preston Society: Birdwatching & Natural History is a group of friendly people who have wide-ranging interests in different fields of the natural world around us.
We exist for the study, appreciation, and enjoyment of natural history. To do that, we:
- provide opportunities for members and visitors to meet, for natural history presentations and for the interchange of ideas and technical expertise;
- promote public dissemination of information on natural history by public lectures, publications, and cooperation with other bodies;
- provide opportunities for Members to undertake expert-led field trips or workshops in the county of Lancashire and its environs;
- provide opportunities for longer natural history trips in the UK or beyond.
As part of our activities the Preston Society have just released their schedule of Sunday walks.
